  • The Synod of Trent held its twelfth session under the leadership of Julius III on September 1, 1551.
  • This session welcomed key German bishops, including the Archbishops of Mayence and Treves, after delays caused by their absence.
  • The next session is scheduled for October 11, focusing on the Eucharist and reforms for the residence of prelates.
  • The Fathers are encouraged to engage in fasting and prayer to seek God’s guidance for unity in faith and moral living.
