Sonhar com cheias: O que a Bíblia diz realmente sobre águas profundas



  • A água das cheias nas Escrituras representa o juízo, o luto e aquilo que não pode ser contido, e a Bíblia usa os três sem escolher entre eles.
  • Génesis 9:11 encerra a leitura do juízo: nunca mais uma cheia para destruir a terra, com um arco colocado nas nuvens — uma arma pendurada.
  • O Salmo 69:1-2 e o Salmo 42:7 usam a água para descrever o sentimento de estar sobrecarregado, em termos que qualquer pessoa que tenha tido um ano mau reconhece.
