概要

  • レビ記17章11節は、血が贖いをする律法上の理由をこう述べています。「肉の命は血にあるからである。」
  • ヘブライ人への手紙9章13-14節は、人々を外面的に清めた動物の血と、良心を清めるキリストの血を対比させています。
  • ヘブライ人への手紙10章19-22節は、すべての信者に至聖所への立ち入りを許しています。律法の下では、大祭司だけが年に一度、血を携えて入ることができました（ヘブライ人への手紙9章7節）。
  • エフェソの信徒への手紙2章13節は、かつて「遠く離れていた」異邦人がキリストの血によって近づけられたと述べており、コロサイの信徒への手紙1章20節は、その血によってもたらされた平和が天にあるもの、地にあるものすべてに及ぶと説いています。
