20 Bible Verses About Seasons

  • Genesis 8:22 promises seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter “as long as the earth endures,” and God makes the promise while saying the human heart is “evil from childhood.”
  • Genesis 1:14 and Psalm 104:19 use moed, appointed time, for the times the sun and moon mark; Brown-Driver-Briggs judges it most probable that both mean the sacred seasons fixed by the moon.
