  • „Sei stark und mutig“ wird von Mose zu Israel und Josua gesagt (5. Mose 31,6-7), von Gott zu Josua (Josua 1,6-9) und von David zu Salomo (1. Chronik 28,20), jedes Mal mit dem Versprechen, dass Gott mit ihnen ist.
  • Josua 1,7 verknüpft Mut mit dem Halten des Gesetzes, ohne „nach rechts oder links“ abzuweichen.
  • Psalm 56,4 sagt: „Wenn ich mich fürchte, so vertraue ich auf dich“, wobei die Angst zugegeben und mit Vertrauen beantwortet wird.
