概要

  • エホバの証人は、ソビエト時代の禁止と追放に始まり、1991年の法的承認後の著しい再興を経て、1世紀以上にわたりロシアで迫害に直面してきました。
  • 2017年、ロシア最高裁判所はエホバの証人を「過激派」組織と認定し、その結果、広範囲にわたる家宅捜索、逮捕、そして平和的な崇拝行為の犯罪化が行われました。
  • ロシア正教会は、エホバの証人を危険なセクトと見なして政府の対エホバの証人政策を支持しており、これが世論や政府の対応に影響を与えています。
  • 国際的な人権団体や各国政府は、ロシアの行動を信教の自由の侵害と見なして非難し、エホバの証人の権利を保護するよう求めています。
