- Het getal 4 komt in verschillende contexten in de hele Bijbel voor en symboliseert volledigheid en de geschapen orde, zoals de vier rivieren uit Eden in Genesis en de vier Evangeliën in het Nieuwe Testament.
- Symbolisch staat het getal 4 voor universaliteit, orde en Gods soevereiniteit, zoals te zien is aan de vier hoeken van de aarde en de vier seizoenen, wat Zijn controle over de schepping illustreert.
- In bijbelse profetieën wordt het getal 4 gebruikt om volledigheid en universeel oordeel weer te geven, zoals de vier beesten in de visioenen van Daniël en de vier ruiters in Openbaring.
- Geestelijk leert het getal 4 ons over de schepping, Gods volledige plan voor ons leven, het belang van een gebalanceerd geloof, en moedigt het constante aanbidding aan, zoals getoond door de vier levende wezens rond Gods troon.
