  • Jesús se llama a sí mismo “la puerta de las ovejas” en Juan 10:7 y 10:9, en una figura retórica sobre un redil al que el ladrón entra por otro camino.
  • Génesis 7:16, Mateo 25:10 y Lucas 13:25 describen una puerta que está cerrada, y en cada caso el cierre marca quién está dentro y quién no.
