  • Le concile de Trente, sous le pape Pie IV, s'est réuni le 14 mai 1562.
  • Il a décidé de proroger la session au jeudi suivant la fête du Corpus Christi.
  • Cette prorogation s'applique aux décrets qui devaient être sanctionnés lors de la session en cours.
  • Une prière a été faite pour demander la guidance de Dieu afin d'aider le Synode à accomplir sa mission pour Sa gloire.
