- La Bibbia fornisce pochi dettagli fisici su Noè, concentrandosi invece sul suo carattere. Viene descritto come giusto, irreprensibile nella sua generazione e come qualcuno che “camminava con Dio”. Il suo attributo fisico più notevole menzionato è la sua grande età: aveva 600 anni quando iniziò il diluvio.
- Alcune fonti non bibliche, come il Libro di Enoch, descrivono Noè come dotato di caratteristiche fisiche insolite alla nascita, come pelle e capelli bianchi. Ciò ha portato a speculazioni sull'albinismo, sebbene tali descrizioni non si trovino nella Bibbia canonica.
