概要

  • アダムからイエスまでの年表は、聖書の系図、特に創世記5章と11章を用いて計算されます。そこには家系や族長の年齢が詳しく記されています。
  • マソラ本文（MT）や七十人訳（LXX）といった異なる古代のテキストは、それぞれ異なる年表を提供しており、アダムからイエスまで約4000年（MT）または5200〜5500年（LXX）という推定値が導き出されます。
  • マタイとルカによる新約聖書の系図は、イエスを旧約聖書の重要な人物と結びつけ、イエスが預言を成就し、全人類の救い主としての役割を果たしたことを強調しています。
