概要

  • 聖書にはアヒルについての言及はありません。レビ記11章13節から19節の鳥のリストには、アヒルを許可する記述も禁止する記述もありません。家禽としての水鳥は、丘陵地帯よりもエジプトに馴染み深いものでした。
  • アヒルの役割を果たすのはウズラです。出エジプト記16章13節では、マナと共に純粋な糧として与えられています。
  • 民数記11章31節から34節では、不平に対する答えとしてウズラが与えられ、その後にキブロテ・ハタアワ（貪欲の墓）で災いが起こります。彼らはまさに自分たちが求めたものを手に入れたのです。
  • 聖書には夢解きの鍵は記されていません（創世記40章8節、ダニエル書2章27-28節）。聖書における鳥の役割は、糧（マタイによる福音書6章26節）、神の配慮（マタイによる福音書10章29節）、そして知らせ（創世記8章11節）です。
