  • 「十分な確信」はギリシャ語の 確信, を翻訳したもので、ヘブル人への手紙6章11節の希望の十分な確信や、10章22節の信仰の確信にも使われています。
  • コリント人への手紙二1章22節は、御霊を「保証」と呼んでいます。これはギリシャ語の アラボン, であり、手付金や預け金を意味します。エペソ人への手紙1章14節でも、信者の相続の保証として同じ言葉が使われています。
