聖書における幕屋とは何か?イスラエルの天幕聖所、その構造と意味



  • 幕屋は、イスラエルがシナイ山で造った移動式の天幕の聖所です。神はその設計を出エジプト記25章から31章で与え、出エジプト記35章から40章にその製作の記録があります。
  • ヘブライ語の名前である ミシュカン, は「住まい」を意味します。出エジプト記では「会見の天幕」とも呼ばれています。
  • それは100キュビト×50キュビト(約45メートル×23メートル)の庭に置かれていました。幕によって天幕は、燭台、机、香の祭壇がある「聖所」と、契約の箱がある「至聖所」に分けられていました。
  • 大祭司だけが、年に一度、贖罪の日に至聖所に入ることができました(レビ記16章)。
  • 天幕はシロに置かれ、後にギブオンに移されました。その後ソロモンの神殿に運び込まれましたが、それ以降どうなったのかについては聖書に記述がありません。
  • ヨハネによる福音書1章14節では、言葉が私たちの間に「宿った」とあり、ここでのギリシャ語の動詞は天幕を張ることを意味しています。また、ヘブライ人への手紙は、幕屋をキリストが入られた天の聖所の写しとして解釈しています。

The tabernacle was the portable tent sanctuary where God promised to dwell among his people in the wilderness.
