概要

  • 聖書の翻訳が数多く存在するのは、原文が古代の言語で書かれており、あらゆる文化の人々が読めるように翻訳する必要があるためです。
  • 2025年初頭の時点で、聖書全巻は774の言語に翻訳されており、新約聖書は1,773の言語、聖書の一部は1,385の言語で利用可能ですが、依然として聖書が全く存在しない言語も多くあります。
  • 翻訳の多様性は、異なる翻訳哲学、言語の進化、そして原文の写本に対する理解の進歩から生じており、メッセージが明確かつ正確に保たれるようにしています。
