Chi è Dio nel cristianesimo? L'unico Creatore, Padre, Figlio e Spirito Santo

  • I cristiani credono in un unico Dio eterno, il Creatore, che la Bibbia chiama SIGNORE e che la maggior parte delle chiese confessa come Padre, Figlio e Spirito Santo.
  • Dio rivelò il suo nome a Mosè come “IO SONO COLUI CHE SONO” (Esodo 3:14); il nome ebraico YHWH è stampato come SIGNORE nelle Bibbie in inglese.
  • Gesù dice “Dio è spirito” (Giovanni 4:24) e la Scrittura descrive Dio come onnipotente, onnisciente, presente ovunque, immutabile, santo, giusto, misericordioso e amorevole.
  • In un sondaggio Pew del 2017, il 78% dei cristiani americani ha affermato che Dio è onnipotente e circa nove su dieci hanno detto che Dio ama tutte le persone.
  • Il Concilio di Nicea (325) confessò il Figlio “della stessa sostanza” del Padre; le chiese cattolica, ortodossa e protestante differiscono nell'enfasi, non su questo credo.
