概要

  • 「セラ」は主に詩篇とハバクク書に見られるヘブライ語で、礼拝において振り返りや賛美のために立ち止まることを促す言葉です。
  • 「セラ」の正確な意味は不明のままですが、音楽的な休止、声を上げるための招待、あるいは神の真理を黙想するための瞬間を意味するのではないかと解釈されています。
  • 聖書の翻訳によって「セラ」の扱いは異なり、そのまま残すもの、脚注を加えるもの、あるいはその本質を捉えるために「間奏」と訳すものなどがあります。
  • 「セラ」の精神は、信者が日常生活の中で立ち止まり、内省する時間を持つことを促し、神との関係を深め、礼拝体験をより豊かなものにします。
