  • 聖書にはLillianやLilianという名前の人物は登場せず、この名前はヘブライ語に由来するものでもありません。
  • Lillianは元々Elizabethの愛称であった可能性が高く、またラテン語由来のLilyの長形としても解釈できます。 リリウム.
  • Elizabeth（ヘブライ語でElisheba、「私の神は誓い」）は、洗礼者ヨハネの母です（ルカによる福音書1章）。
  • 「ユリ」を意味する聖書の名前は、ヘブライ語由来のSusannaです。 ショシャン; Susannaはイエスに従った女性の一人です（ルカによる福音書8章）。
