概要

  • 聖書にはオーラルセックスについての言及はありません。聖書は性行為を結婚の枠内に留めるよう求めており（創世記2:24、ヘブル人への手紙13:4）、姦淫を禁じています。 porneia, 、つまり「一般的に不法な性的交渉」（コリント人への手紙第一6:18）。
  • カトリック、正教会、福音派の教えはすべて、結婚前のオーラルセックスを、結婚外のあらゆる性行為と同様に、性的罪として扱っています。
  • 「Focus on the Family」や「GotQuestions.org」といった福音派のミニストリーは、夫婦双方が自由に同意している限り、結婚生活におけるオーラルセックスについては夫婦の判断に委ねています。
  • カトリックの著述家たちは、カトリック教会のカテキズム第2351項から第2366項を適用し、オーラルセックスを性交で完結する行為の一部としてのみ認め、性交の代わりに行うことは決して認めていません。
  • 正教会の回答はさまざまです。アンティオキア正教会の小教区は「寝室にルールブックはない」と述べる一方、コプト正教会の教区はオーラルセックスを罪深いものとしています。
  • CDC（アメリカ疾病予防管理センター）は、オーラルセックスによって感染する可能性がある疾患として、クラミジア、淋病、梅毒、ヘルペス、HPVを挙げています。この方法によるHIV感染のリスクは、ほとんどないか、全くありません。

Before marriage, yes: Catholic, Orthodox and evangelical teaching all treat oral sex outside marriage as sexual sin, like any sex outside marriage. Within marriage the Bible never mentions it, and the churches differ.
