概要

  • マタイ（2:1）とルカ（2:4–7）の両方が述べているように、イエスはダビデ王の町であるユダヤのベツレヘムで生まれました。
  • 彼はガリラヤのナザレで育ったため、「ナザレのイエス」と呼ばれました。ルカはそこを「彼が育てられた場所」（ルカ4:16）と呼んでいます。
  • ナザレとベツレヘムは、ヨルダン渓谷を下る古い道を通ると約90マイル（約145キロメートル）離れており、ゆっくり歩くと1週間以上かかる距離です。
