    Existe uma santa Estelle ou Eustelle de Saintes ou Estelle de Saintes, que foi uma suposta mártir do século III na Gália, filha de um ilustre romano e descendente de uma poderosa família de druidas. Ela tem sido popular na região de Charentaise e era considerada uma santa padroeira das jovens cristãs. Santa Estelle é celebrada a 11 de maio.
