摘要

圣经并未说明所罗门是否去了天堂。《列王纪上》第11章记载，他年老时外邦妻子使他的心偏向别神，且并未记载他有任何悔改。
圣经没有给出所罗门的死因或年龄。经文只说他作王四十年，“与他列祖同睡”，葬在大卫城（《列王纪上》11:42–43）。
上帝应许大卫儿子的慈爱必不离开他（《撒母耳记下》7:14–15），《尼希米记》13:26称所罗门为“蒙神所爱”，同时也提到外邦女子“引诱他犯罪”。
奥古斯丁写道，所罗门“善始却恶终”；耶路撒冷的西里尔将他列为悔改的罪人之一，马太·亨利则将《传道书》解读为他的悔改之作。
