- A genealogia bíblica de Noé até Jesus traça o caminho através de Sem, Abraão, David e, finalmente, até Cristo, demonstrando a fidelidade de Deus através das gerações e cumprindo as profecias do Antigo Testamento. Esta linhagem inclui indivíduos justos e falíveis, destacando a graça de Deus.
- Existem diferenças entre as genealogias em Mateus e Lucas, que podem refletir propósitos diferentes (Mateus enfatizando a linhagem real de Jesus, Lucas a Sua conexão com toda a humanidade) ou potencialmente representar linhagens legais versus biológicas.
