概要
- 聖書における祝福とは、人々に与えられる神の恵み、善良さ、そして恩寵を指します。この概念は聖書全体を通して何百回も登場し、「祝福」という言葉のバリエーションは多くの英語翻訳で400回以上現れます。
- 旧約聖書では、祝福はしばしば物質的な繁栄や身体的な健康を強調しますが、新約聖書、特にイエスの教えでは、山上の垂訓に見られるように、霊的な祝福と永遠の報いに焦点が移ります。
- イエスは祝福を再定義し、世俗的な成功ではなく、霊的な資質、謙遜、義を強調しました。イエスは、真の祝福は神との正しい関係と他者への奉仕から生まれると教えました。
